Since 2007 Sugar Space has provided a space for the performing arts including dance, theater, music, spoken word, comedy, storytelling, film, immersive experiences, aerial arts and more. ABOUT OUR PERFORMING AND EVENT FACILITIES
Box Office
We provide in house ticketing services through our partner Theatermania/Ovationtix. If you would like to handle ticket sales on your own, please inquire with us to discuss your needs.
Staffing
Depending on the needs of the event, we provide box office staff, ushers, security, concessions, stage management, set up and breakdown staff, sound and lighting engineer(s), lighting designer and more. If you want to use our facility and some of your own staff, please inquire with us to discuss your needs and see what is available for your particular event.
Cost / Fees
The mission statement that we were founded on is that we provide space, support and opportunities for artists of all disciplines. We do not ask contracted performing artists to work for free and offer compensation through a variety of methods including a contracted fee, percentage of ticket sales, food/beverage, trade, and/or a combination of these methods. Sometimes an artist will volunteer their services. That is appreciated but we still hope to provide some kind of equitable compensation or value.
If you rent our faciilty to host your own event, we would ask that you also compensate your participating performing artist’s fairly.
